DAY 1: Nairobi
Meet on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and transferred to Sarova Panafric Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Sarova Panafric Hotel on bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 2: Nairobi – Samburu (32 kms – approx. 5 hrs 17 m)
Depart from Nairobi after breakfast and drive to Sarova Shaba Game Lodge is located in a natural oasis in the heart of the Shaba Game Reserve just east of Samburu, or one can say, in the “Born Free Country” that Joy and George Adamson called home for many years. After tea proceed for an afternoon game drive in the beautiful Samburu National Reserve. Overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge (BLD).
DAY 3: Samburu
After breakfast depart to the park for a game drive. Deep in the arid North Country of Kenya; situated across the Great North Road, is Shaba National Reserve which forms part of a trio of reserves quite different from the ones found in Kenya. Shaba takes its name from Mount Shaba (1525 meters), a volcanic mountain that became extinct around 5,000 years ago and lies on the border of the reserve. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Overnight at Samburu Shaba Lodge (BLD).
DAY 4: Samburu – The Ark(202 kms – approximately 3 hrs 47 min)
After an early breakfast we leave behind the beauty and tranquility of Samburu and drive to the quirky and iconic- The Ark where you arrive by lunch time. An afternoon game drive in the Aberdares National Park should be great. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Modeled after Noah’s Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you! Overnight at The Ark Lodge (BLD).
DAY 5: The Ark – Lake Nakuru (200 kms – approximately 3 hrs 15min)
After breakfast drive to the beautiful and serene Lake Nakuru. On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru National Park is renowned as a bird sanctuary with over 400 bird species, including huge flocks of flamingoes and many other water birds. It is an excellent park for wildlife spotting and is home to many water-loving animals such as hippos and waterbucks.

DAY 6: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara (280 kms – approx. 5 hrs 19 min)
After breakfast, proceed to the most popular game reserves in Africa- the MASAI MARA National Reserve. Masai Mara is the best place to see the “Big Five” animals (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalo) together. The famous wildebeest migration also takes place at the Mara. Overnight at Sarova Mara (BLD).
DAY 7: Masai Mara
After breakfast proceed for the morning game drive and enjoy the beautiful savannah. Overnight at Sarova Mara (BLD).
DAY 8: Depart
After breakfast you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight. Lunch or dinner on this day is not included. (B)
