Day 1: Arrival – Kigali
Morning or evening arrive into Kigali for overnight.
Day 2: Kigali/Historic Towns/Nyungwe Forest National Park
After breakfast, drive south for a visit of the historical towns of Nyanza and Butare.
Lunch in Butare. Afternoon, proceed further southwards to Nyungwe Forest National Park for overnight.
Day 3: Nyungwe Forest National Park – Chimpanzee Trek/Other Primates Trek
Early morning Chimpanzee trekking, followed by lunch at your lodge.
Afternoon, embark on the Other Primates trek adventure, returning to your lodge for overnight.
Day 4: Nyungwe Forest National Park/Volcanoes National Park
Morning depart for the Volcanoes National Park with a lunch stop-over at the central Lake Kivu town of Kibuye.
After lunch, continue on your journey northwards, to arrive in late afternoon for overnight.
Day 5: Volcanoes National Park – Gorilla Trek/Twin Lakes
Morning Gorilla trek, followed by lunch at your lodge.
Afternoon, enjoy a visit of the spectacular and scenic Twin Lakes – Burera and Ruhondo. Overnight at your volcanoes lodge.
Day 6: Volcanoes National Park – Golden Monkey Trek/Kigali
Morning Golden Monkey trek, followed by lunch at your lodge.
Afternoon, drive back to Kigali for overnight.
Day 7: Kigali – City Tour/Depart
Morning enjoy a tour of Kigali City, including the genocide museum, museum of natural history and former presidential palace museum; with lunch at one of Kigali’s popular restaurants Later, transfer to the airport for your evening outbound flight.
