DAY 1 ARUSHA

1400 hrs depart from Arusha Impala hotel. Afternoon drive across the Great Rift valley to Ngorongoro. Spend the next two nights at Ngorongoro Sopa or Serena lodge.

DAY 2 NGORONGORO 

Early breakfast and descend onto the crater floor for game viewing with picnic lunch. The wonderful variety of wildlife and stunning landscape make this one of nature’s most unforgettable spectacles. Mid-afternoon, return to the lodge and remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 3 OLDUVAI 

Morning drive to Serengeti, stopping en route to see the Archaeological museum at Olduvai where Louis and Mary Leakey found the fossilised remains of some of man’s oldest ancestors. Lunch and afternoon game drive in Serengeti National park. Spend the next two nights at Serengeti Sopa or Serena lodge.

DAY 4 SERENGETI 

Morning and afternoon game viewing in Serengeti. Look out for Leopard along the riverine forest or marvel at the vast herds of Wildebeest and Zebra out on the plains. While Lion and Cheetah may be spotted.

DAY 5 MANYARA 

Morning drive to Manyara. Lunch and afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National park. Look out for the famous tree-climbing Lions as well as Hippo, Flamingo, Elephant and Giraffe. Overnight at Kirurumu Manyara tented lodge or Manyara Serena lodge.

DAY 6 ARUSHA

Morning drive back to Arusha where the tour ends (onward transfers to airport or hotels outside Arusha town must be added).
